At the Feb. 3 Gahanna City Council meeting, the city clerk reported that the Planning Commission has recommended a change to Part 11 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna, specifically zoning code section 1117.1 E 1 A, pertaining to required improvements.
The clerk said he issued the required 30-day public notice for the measure, which the clerk identified as proposed ordinance 1-12025, and set a hearing date of March 3, 2025, prior to a council vote on adoption. The clerk also said the council’s committee of the whole will receive a brief presentation on Feb. 10.
No vote on the ordinance took place at Monday’s meeting; the item remains at the public-notice and review stage. Council members were given notice of the schedule and advised that the item would return for public hearing and a future adoption vote after the committee presentation.
Separately, during the same correspondence report the clerk noted an Ohio Division of Liquor Control notice for Brahmin Veil Enterprises LLC at 230 Granville Street; the Gahanna Division of Police reported no objection and the clerk said he would sign and return the notice indicating no hearing requested.
