Votes at a glance: Middlesex County Board approves dredge contract addendum, airport plan, budgets and several local measures

The Middlesex County Board of Supervisors recorded the following formal actions and roll-call votes at its Feb. 4 meeting. All recorded votes listed below passed on unanimous roll calls unless noted.

Sheriff’s office renovation — change orders (Items 23c/23d). Motion to approve two proposed change orders totaling $23,750 (pavement transition at the sally port and storage room access) was made by Mr. Bill Harris and seconded by Mr. Williams. Roll-call: Crittendon — yes; Jesse — yes; Williams — yes; Bill Harris — yes; Don Harris — yes. Outcome: approved.

FY2025 budget supplement — restraint and seclusion training grant (School Board). Motion by Mr. Jesse, second by Mr. Crittendon, to appropriate the Virginia Department of Education restraint and seclusion grant into the FY2025 budget (budget supplement form FY2025-204, per packet). Roll-call: unanimous yes. Outcome: approved.
