Milton council approves on‑premises alcohol license for Volcano Ramen and Sushi

Milton City Council approved issuance of an alcohol beverage license to Food Thai Garden LLC, doing business as Volcano Ramen and Sushi, for on‑premises consumption of wine and malt beverages, including Sunday sales, at 5316 Windward Parkway, Suite A.
Deputy City Manager Bernadette Harvill told the council the application is a change of ownership and that the restaurant meets the city’s requirements for an on‑premises license, including the 40% seating requirement and classification as an eating establishment that derives at least 50% of annual gross sales from prepared food. "This is a change of ownership for the restaurant located on Windward Parkway," Harvill said. She also noted the public hearing had been advertised in the Milton Herald on Jan. 23 and Jan. 30.
There was no public comment. Councilor Doug Haney moved to approve agenda item number 25‑033; a council member (recorded as "Berhoff") seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
The council recorded the application as advertised and approved the license under the city’s standard on‑premises wine and malt regulatory requirements.
