Shane (city parks staff) said the Scott Schreiner golf course renovation is “moving right along” and “we're actually ahead of schedule,” reporting roughly 1.85 weather days lost and ongoing work on greens, bunkers, drainage and bridge removal/installation. Council members sought a clarification after a letter to the editor stated $486,000 was spent on a single bridge; staff clarified that $486,000 was the total amount for removal and installation of five bridges, not one.
