Walton County tourism tax receipts outpace spending; unencumbered reserves total $40.6 million

The county’s reserve for the period was $151,475,308; after deductions for projects, encumbrances and beach renourishment the unencumbered reserve balance was $40,643,790. The presenter requested approval of the financial statements from the council.
