Klopfenstein said Compass recently completed a review of how all 50 states fund transportation and is holding an education series on Utah’s road‑usage charge program; she invited commissioners to attend a presentation scheduled the night of Feb. 3 and a follow‑up session the next morning. "Compass recently, a few months ago, finished a groundbreaking study on how all 50 states fund their transportation systems," Klopfenstein said.
She also announced public comment for the Let's Ride Treasure Valley high‑capacity transit study will run Feb. 10–March 2 and will present the Tier 2 screening results, corridor options and technology pairings. Klopfenstein offered Compass 101 briefings to explain the MPO’s role and said the agency will circulate public materials and a comment link to commissioners.

Klopfenstein said Compass’s executive director is retiring Feb. 14 and announced a new incoming executive director, Craig Rayborn, who will represent Compass at the executive level going forward.
