Morrison County introduced Denise Zek as its new IT security manager during the board’s organizational meeting. County staff said the position is new for the IT department and Zek will lead the county’s security group in 2025.

"My name is Denise Zek," she said, adding that some people pronounce her name Czech or Zec and that she lives in Sauk Rapids. LeBlanc and other commissioners welcomed Zek and said they were pleased she had joined the county. Staff told the board Zek brings more than 10 years of security experience and has been with the county about two months.

No formal action was required or taken on the introduction; the board continued with its agenda after the welcome.

Zek said she was "very proud to work with Morrison so far" and thanked the board and staff for the welcome.
