Planning Commission elects officers for 2025 and approves corrected minutes

The San Juan County Planning Commission elected officers for 2025 and approved corrected minutes from its Dec. 20, 2024 meeting.
Commissioners moved and adopted a motion naming Rick Hoffman as chair and Sheila Goughlin as vice chair for 2025. The motion was approved by roll call with Peter, Darcy, Sheila, Serena and Bill recorded as voting in favor; Commissioner Gary Franklin was not present.
Commissioners also approved the minutes of the Dec. 20, 2024 meeting with a correction to a misnamed participant noted in the minutes. The motion to approve the minutes with the correction carried by voice/roll call; the minutes reflect at least one abstention or absence noted during the roll call discussion but the commission found a sufficient quorum to adopt the corrected minutes.
Serena agreed to continue as commission secretary and was approved by consensus.
