The Lincoln City Council on Tuesday approved its consent agenda and the city's fiscal-year 2023-24 annual audit.
The consent agenda, moved by Alderman Sanders and seconded by Alderman Downs, included payment of bills and a request from the Lincoln Park District to partially close city streets for a 5K run from Lincoln Park District to Scully Park on Aug. 23, 2025, from 5:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The consent items passed by roll call.
Later in the meeting, the council unanimously approved the annual audit for fiscal year 2023-24 after a motion by Alderman Rolfes and a second from Alderman Downs. Council members recorded their votes by roll call; all voting members present supported the audit.
Both approvals were routine items on the agenda and passed with no substantive debate; the council adjourned at 7:00 p.m.
