Solanco SD board reports meeting with Rep. Cutler to press for cyber funding

The report came near the end of the board’s regular meeting, when a board member said Dr. Bliss, board member Justin Musser and the speaker had met "with Representative Cutler here at the Admin Building and we discussed of all things, cyber funding." The board member added, "it was a pretty one-sided conversation, I believe, letting him know where we stood on funding issues. Unfortunately, we didn't, get to the point where we could resolve the funding the way it is, but, at least he heard our voices."

"I just think we're, I think it's an important process to go through. We're able to sit down with our local legislator lehi legislators and and really give them a slight point of view from their decisions made," Musser said. He added that the district had provided Representative Cutler with information the legislator "wasn't quite aware of," and said, "we're not turning the Titanic overnight, we're at least putting our voice out there."
