Traffic and road safety subcommittee urges residents to complete safety survey; results to be shared with county advisory committee

Brandon Erickson, speaking for the neighborhood’s Traffic and Road Safety Subcommittee, urged residents to complete a vehicle‑, pedestrian‑ and bicycle‑safety survey that will remain open through the end of January and be finalized for presentation in March.
“ The survey will stay open through the end of January, and it will close. And we'll finalize the data, and we'll present that in March,” Erickson told meeting attendees. He said the committee is mapping reported locations of concern and plans to share the compiled results with Clark County advisory bodies, including the county’s bicycle and pedestrian advisory committee.
Erickson said preliminary responses have identified multiple corridors with recurring safety concerns and encouraged residents to provide precise locations — intersections where possible — to improve the committee’s mapping. He said the survey data could be used to support requests for funding such as safe‑routes‑to‑school programs.
The committee has a preliminary presentation and a QR code link to the survey in the association newsletter; Erickson encouraged neighbors to share the survey with others in the community. The subcommittee plans to post a finalized report and present findings at a future meeting in March.
