City Council appoints Dan Marvin to Community Health Endowment board

The Lincoln City Council unanimously approved the mayor’s appointment of Dan Marvin to the Community Health Endowment Board of Trustees for a term ending Sept. 1, 2027.
The Lincoln City Council on Feb. 3 approved the mayor’s appointment of Dan Marvin to the Community Health Endowment Board of Trustees for a term to expire Sept. 1, 2027.
Kate Bowles, president and CEO of the Community Health Endowment, introduced Marvin and told the council that “from his previous service on our board, his investment experience, and his experience with urban development all add value and insight” as the endowment advances the Belmont Community Redevelopment Plan.
The council considered the item as part of its consent agenda. A motion to appoint Marvin was moved and seconded; the council called the roll and the motion carried, seven to zero.
The appointment was placed on the consent agenda and approved without further debate, consistent with the endowment’s typical gubernatorial/mayoral appointment and council confirmation process.
The council then moved on to the next consent items on its agenda.
