The board approved an amended agenda after a request to add discussion of a Public Spaces grant application. The motion to adopt the amended agenda was made by Mr. Anderson and seconded by Mr. Jacobson; the board voted in favor with no recorded opposition.
The board then approved the minutes of Dec. 18, 2024; the motion was offered and seconded and carried without objection. Next, the board approved the December 2024 financial report. Ross, the DDA director, told the board there was nothing unusual to report beyond routine bills and landscaping maintenance before members voted to accept the report.
Finally, the board approved the DDAevent dates for 2025, which include a farmers market on Macomb Street every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., May 17through Sept. 27; Island Fest on Saturday, May 31; weekly Concerts on the Commons on Sundays from 7 to 8 p.m., June 29through Aug. 31; a Halloween parade on Saturday, Oct. 25; Paint the Town Red on Friday, Sept. 26; Ladies Night Out on Friday, Nov. 7; and Island Glow on Friday, Dec. 5. The motion to approve the listed dates was made by Ms. Armiak and seconded by Ms. Stanko and carried without dissent.
The meeting adjourned by unanimous vote.
