School Committee forms working group to study school choice participation ahead of June deadline

Dr. Lund said the usual timeline places the formal recommendation in spring and noted the state’s June 1 deadline for submissions. He suggested this year’s review might take two to three meetings and that administrators would compile enrollment projections and scenarios for committee consideration.
No formal vote was recorded to adopt a final position; the committee instead authorized formation of the working group and invited volunteers to serve.
