The Facilities Committee on Jan. 29 accepted staff—s notice that the Cranberry Elementary School construction project is complete, fully paid and finished under budget, and approved forwarding the closeout memo to the full Board for final acceptance.
Bill (last name not specified) said the project is 100% complete and that a small remaining allowance remains as part of the closeout. He said the solar panel work discussed earlier is not in the construction package; that work is in separate planning and is expected to begin in mid-June and finish by the end of the summer.
A motion to accept the project as complete and forward the memo to the full Board was made, seconded and carried. Committee members congratulated the team on delivering the project under budget and noted a planned walkthrough of other projects for the committee on Feb. 6.
