In a single bundled motion the council reappointed the following individuals: Mike Richards (Construction Board of Appeals), Edmond Garvey (Design Review Committee), David Reed (Historical Committee), Elaine Preston (Historical Committee), John Wayne (Historical Committee), Mikayla Farmer (Tree Board) and Marcy Cooper (Municipal Planning Commission). The mayor read the resolutions aloud, council moved and seconded approval of the bundle, and the motion carried by voice vote.
The council also considered a town ordinance amending Municipal Code Title 5, Chapter 5, Section 5‑502 (nonresident fees for town facilities). The amendment renames the facility item “library” to “library membership” and adds a new facility item “library online membership” with an annual fee of $35. Council conducted discussion that this item had previously been read and that it would return for a subsequent reading; a motion to approve the reading was made, seconded, and approved by voice vote at the meeting.
