Frank Yulehorn chosen chairman; Lillian Meanwell reappointed vice chair of Germantown BZA

The Germantown Board of Zoning Appeals elected Frank Yulehorn as chairman and reappointed Lillian Meanwell as vice chair during the opening of its Jan. 14 meeting.
Board member Towne nominated Frank Yulehorn for chairman; the motion was seconded by Board Member Jacobs. The roll call recorded votes of yes from Bland, McDermott, Towne, Jacobs, Meanwell, Vice Mayor Gibson and Yulehorn, resulting in Yulehorn’s election.
On the vice chair position, a motion was made to continue Lillian Meanwell as vice chair and was seconded. The board again approved the motion by roll call; Meanwell said she would vote for herself.
Chairman Yulehorn and Vice Chair Meanwell will continue presiding over Board of Zoning Appeals hearings and training for the year. The board proceeded afterward to approve minutes and to the annual training and agenda items.
