The board adopted the Jan. 27 agenda on a motion by the vice mayor, seconded by Alderman Sanders, with a roll-call vote in the affirmative. The minutes of the Jan. 13, 2025 meeting were approved on a motion by Alderman Yulicki, seconded by Vice Mayor Mary Anne Gibson, also by roll call.
The consent agenda included these items listed in the board packet: a pension investment consulting agreement with CBIZ (investment advisory), the appointment of Stacy Johnson to the Education Commission, the appointment of R.A. Palazzolo to the Senior Advisory Commission, the appointment of Chet Reisenhofer to the Shelby County Groundwater Quality Control Board, donations of chairs for the Police Communications Center from the Shelby County 9-1-1 board, the Germantown Education Foundation utility-bill donation program, parks-and-recreation donations (including $1,000 from Germantown Legends and $4,000 for the Bobby Lanier Farm Park board), purchases for the Axon vehicle camera program and a chiller control panel replacement, and a vehicle purchase for city operations.
Board members thanked staff and volunteer reviewers for work on the pension advisory review; Alderman Yulicki and other members praised the committee and staff who reviewed proposals. The consent agenda was approved on a motion by Alderman Yulicki, seconded by Alderman Hicks, with a unanimous roll-call vote in favor.
