Committee questions State Board rule changes on teacher apprenticeships, accreditation and certification pathways

Reiber said one docket would allow the State Board to recognize nontraditional or proprietary accreditors for postsecondary registrations and that other dockets implement changes to the Opportunity Scholarship, school facility reporting (House Bill 521), and newly authorized teacher apprenticeship pathways.
Much of the committee's discussion focused on the docket concerning educator preparation and teacher certification pathways.
