The St. Mary's County Alcohol Beverage Board on Oct. 9 approved a refillable-container permit for Bob Sunoco and ratified several administrative changes to existing licenses, including officer/member updates for Buffalo Wild Wings Grill and Bar and the removal of a listed officer at Knightlife.
The approvals were part of routine business at the board's monthly meeting, which also included formal approval of the board's Sept. 11 minutes. Board Administrator Tammy Hildebrand confirmed the refillable-container permission will be added to the license once the treasurer's office receives the paperwork and fee.
Robert Belden, who applied for the permit on behalf of Bob Sunoco in Valley Lee, told the board the planned system is "a completely automated, totally, you know, clean environment. It's, it's basically push button. You insert the growler. You press the button. It does everything for you." Belden said he has not yet placed equipment orders and will coordinate with the health department before installation.
