Extension approvals: The board granted a 90‑day extension of the conditional approval for Captain Sam’s Liquors at the request of Subia (Sabia) Shafiq and Salma Shafiq; the board also approved a 60‑day extension of conditional approval for the Woodlawn application submitted by Jim Groove (Groupe) and Margaret O’Brien. Applicants said delays were due to county and state permit processing and construction/structural choices; the board approved the extensions by voice vote.
