The Southeastern Utah Watershed Council approved the meeting minutes from Sept. 30, 2024 and set quarterly 2025 meeting dates.
A member moved to approve the Sept. 30, 2024 minutes; the motion was seconded and the council voted in favor. No roll-call tally of individual votes was recorded in the public transcript; the chair declared the motion carried.
The council agreed to meet quarterly on the second Monday of each quarter at 10 a.m., with planned dates noted as April 14 (Moab area), July 14 and Oct. 13 (the council later noted the Oct. 13 date conflicts with an observed holiday and said they would consider moving that meeting). Members discussed rotating meeting locations among counties.
Staff reminded members that mandatory Open Meetings Act training is required annually; members without current certificates were asked to take the online course and return certification to staff. Staff will circulate the training link and will request the initial (new-member) course selection where applicable.
The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn, which was seconded and carried.
