The Redevelopment Dissolution Countywide Oversight Board of Santa Clara County approved its consent calendar and elected officers in a special meeting.
The board approved the consent calendar by roll call (motion by Member Gomez; second by Member Pasquale). Members voting aye included Member Williams, Member Gomez, Member Chiu, Member Pasquale and the chair; the motion carried unanimously. Board members and staff noted one consent-calendar item of operational interest: the City of San Jose Successor Agency is now tracking actual personnel time spent on successor-agency activities following the board's January 2024 request, and the administrative budget in this year's Recognized Obligation Payment Schedule (ROPS) showed a decrease.
The board then elected a chairperson and a vice chairperson. A motion to nominate a chair ("Tony" in the record) passed by roll call with unanimous support (Member Williams, Member Gomez, Member Chiu, Member Pasquale and Vice Chairperson Snow recorded as aye). The board later moved to nominate Vice Chairperson Snow as vice chair and the nomination also carried unanimously on roll call.
All formal votes at the meeting were by roll call with no recorded no votes or abstentions. The meeting adjourned with the next regular meeting scheduled for Friday, September 26, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. in the board chambers at 70 West Hennings Street.
