During discussion of the claim docket, a supervisor noted multiple fuel card transactions by the same users on the same dates and questioned small transactions of $10–$12. The supervisor asked Miss Dotson whether all county vehicles were assigned fuel cards and whether documentation existed for multiple same‑day charges. County Administrator Dr. Gregory Reed responded that accounts-payable should handle the issue and agreed to work with the supervisor to provide further details.
Another supervisor questioned several recent purchases of televisions and other appliances listed on the docket and asked where the items were being stored and which departments had authorized the purchases. Dr. Reed said he would provide a high-level accounting and that staff would follow up.
