Commissioners moved to send a communication to Ward 7 City Councilor Chuck Viola, the engineering department and MassDOT District 4 asking them to evaluate whether a pedestrian crossing light is warranted at the Reeves School. The motion was seconded and passed.
No final decision was made at the meeting; commissioners said the engineering department and MassDOT would need to evaluate warrants and design options. The commission also voted to place the matter on file pending responses from the agencies and the ward councilor.
