Committee members asked about chaperone ratios (reported as one adult per 10 students), prior trip logistics (yesterday’s experience and use of buses with onboard bathrooms), and whether students would use subways (presenters said they would not supervise students on subways). Committee members and the adviser discussed the district practice of using buses with restrooms for long drives and confirmed that students had been involved in planning and are aware of costs.
A motion to approve the trip was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
