Chloe, who identified herself as a 17-year-old senior at Auburn High School, described volunteering with SchoolHouse World and tutoring global learners. "Volunteering with a large global community has taught me how to navigate conflict using communication to find common ground peacefully," she told the committee. She said she hopes to bring student perspectives about diversity and equity to the committee.
Committee members welcomed Chloe. The superintendent and members said they expect her to attend future meetings as the student voice at the table.
