At the Jan. 23, 2025 meeting the Danvers Conservation Commission voted to accept the minutes of its Jan. 9, 2025 meeting. The motion to accept the minutes was made and seconded and approved by voice vote.
In new business the commission discussed unauthorized crossings near a new section of the rail-trail. Commission staff reported that letters were sent to affected neighborhoods asking owners to clear crossings and that staff plan to walk the trail and inspect the crossings as soon as conditions allow. The commission intends to inspect the crossings with staff (planning technician Brian Cassidy was named as a participant) and indicated that formal enforcement orders would be the next step if property owners do not address the crossings.
The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn, which was seconded and approved by voice vote.
