Select Board ratifies hires, licenses and community permits in unanimous votes

The Millis Select Board on Jan. 27 unanimously approved a set of routine appointments, business licenses and community agreements, including ratifying new snow‑removal contractors, approving a utility conduit location with a notification condition, and granting an on‑site dining license to a downtown bakery.

Those items were taken in a single string of motions near the beginning and end of a meeting that also included a longer presentation on the Tri‑County Regional Vocational Technical High School building project. The board recorded unanimous voice votes on each motion; a numerical roll call was not recorded in the meeting minutes for every item.

Actions the board approved at the meeting included:

- Ratification of Dominic Tiberi as a police detail officer, following a memo from the police chief recommending the appointment.

- Ratification of Noah Ryan and Braden Ryan as on‑call snow‑removal contractors, pending submission of completed work permits.
