The Revere City Board of Health voted to approve minutes from its Oct. 24, 2024 meeting and to renew 16 body-art establishment and individual practitioner licenses recommended by staff.
Board Chair Dr. Drew Bunker moved the meeting to approve the minutes and board members Kathleen Savage and Vivia Viviana Catano affirmed approval. The minutes motion was recorded as approved by the three board members present.
On body-art licensing, Director of Public Health Lauren Buck and Health Agent Michael Wells reported that inspections of 16 licensees had passed and recommended approval. Buck read the list of establishments and practitioners; the board voted to approve all renewals in a single motion. The board recorded three affirmative approvals from Dr. Drew Bunker, Kathleen Savage and Vivia Viviana Catano.
The licenses recommended and approved were: Janet Aesthetics (establishment) and practitioner Janet Isquadero; Katia El Assabo, Micropigmentation (establishment and practitioner); Babe and Beau Spa (establishment) and practitioners Fang Li Luang and Shelley Vu; Lakshmi Beauty (establishment) and practitioner Blanca e So to Lenis; Sarah Ospino's Studio (establishment) and practitioners Sarah Ospino and Henry Erazo; Brows by Camilla (establishment) and practitioner Maria Jimenez; and Kat Beauty Co (establishment) and practitioner Catherine Peguero. Inspection dates were given for most licensees; where an inspection date was not provided in the presentation it was recorded as not specified.
Both votes were recorded as approvals; no board member recorded a dissenting vote.
