Town Manager John gave an update Monday after residents raised concerns about an Acton Police Department response the night of Jan. 20, when a school plow operator reported seeing a man on the Boardwalk campus around 1:30 a.m. The town manager said staff reviewed the 911 recording, radio traffic and body-worn camera footage and met with the chief and the DEI director to examine the incident and community concerns.
The chief, Chief Cogan of the Acton Police Department, told the board the department dispatched two officers after the plow operator reported a person walking on the school campus and described the caller's description to dispatch.
