Carroll County directs attorney to intervene in Maryland PSC docket on Piedmont Reliability Project

The board’s motion to authorize the county attorney to intervene and pursue participation in the PSC docket passed without recorded opposition. Commissioners said additional details about whether to act jointly with other counties and the legal approach would be determined after intervention is filed.
The action preserves the county’s ability to submit evidence and participate in hearings before the PSC on transmission-line routing and related reliability issues.
