Johnson said he had given news interviews and encouraged social‑media sharing of his daughter’s account before investigators finished their work, and he said he was “deeply sorry for the hate and threats” the administrator and her family received as a result. Johnson described the administrator as an educator of more than two decades with an “extensive proven career record.”
