Christian County Commission renews document-restoration contract with Sutterfield Technologies

The Christian County Commission voted unanimously to approve a second renewal of RFP 2023-3 with Sutterfield Technologies to continue document-restoration and digitization services.

The renewal covers services that include digital conversions of paper forms, indexing, microfilm creation, book reprinting, archival book restoration, and on- and off-site document scanning. “The contractor may perform the following services, which include but [are] not limited to digital conversions from different print forms, indexing, microfilm creation, book reprinting, archival book restoration, and off-site and on-site document scanning,” Purchasing Manager Kim said. “There's not gonna be any increase in the price from 2024, and we would recommend that you approve the contract renewal for Sutterfield Technologies.”

Commissioners asked whether the county recorder—who the purchasing manager said operates the software—had any questions; none were raised. A commissioner moved to adopt the renewal, a second was recorded, and the commission approved the motion with all members voting in favor.

The renewal will keep the county on its existing contract schedule and pricing; no budget increase was presented during the discussion. The recorder was present during the item but did not request changes or additional conditions.
