Chair Kim Smith read a motion to convene under Section 19.85(1)(e) of the Wisconsin Statutes, the statutory exception allowing deliberation or negotiation of purchase of public properties, investing of public funds or conducting other specified public business when competitive or bargaining reasons require closed session. Eric Archer moved to go into closed session; Tom Smith seconded. The meeting recorded roll-call votes with Mike Milkey, Jared Holter, Jan Brock, Tom Smith, Eric Archer and Bill Lethen all answering “Aye.” The chair announced the commission was in closed session at 6:52 p.m. The transcript ends at the start of the closed session; any subsequent action would be recorded in open session if required.
