Planning Commission advances multiple subdivisions, plats and site plans; sets bond for La Verne Business Center

La Verne Planning Commission members voted on a series of subdivision approvals, final plats and site plans and set a performance bond for a commercial project during their Jan. 28, 2025 meeting.

The commission sent a favorable recommendation to the Board of Mayor and Aldermen for Carothers Crossing Phase 2, and approved final plats for Sandhill Villas (seven lots), Arbor Ridge Sections 5 (35 lots) and 10 (102 lots), and Mission Hills Section 1 (15 lots). The commission also approved site plans for resurfacing at 483 Buchanan Street and parking-lot improvements at the Trinidad Benham Corporation site. Item 13 on the agenda was withdrawn. The commission set the performance bond amount for the La Verne Business Center at $3,499,043.30 after discussion about bid discrepancies and inclusion of a traffic signal that interacts with TDOT work.
