Defense counsel told the court the bail bond company consented to reissue bond after a period of non-contact. An interpreter was sworn for the proceeding and Herrera confirmed he is a U.S. citizen and has local family. The parties told the court they were in agreement on the $10,000 bond amount.
The court imposed GPS monitoring until further notice and waived related fees. The judge instructed counsel to provide any additional information needed by pretrial services and confirmed that terms of electronic monitoring would remain in place until further court order. "Your bond is set at $10,000, and I'm going to do GPS and I'm going to waive the fees," the judge said in open court.
The clerk will process bond paperwork and the defendant was instructed to follow GPS conditions and remain in contact with pretrial services pending further proceedings.
