The Page County Board of Supervisors set tentative budget-work session dates for Feb. 5–7, to begin at 4 p.m. each day, and approved routine claims and meeting minutes during the meeting.
The board agreed Wednesday or Thursday would work and settled on a three-day start: Wednesday–Friday, Feb. 5–7, with sessions to begin at 4 p.m. The chair said election activity would make Monday and Tuesday in that week impractical, and one commissioner noted that Commissioner Brian would be in Des Moines for part of the schedule and would attend by Zoom as needed.
County staff said budget notebooks would be ready by the end of the week and recommended scheduling evening slots if necessary; the board said it would attempt 4 to 4:30 p.m. blocks and then coordinate later start/finish times by email.
The board approved routine claims after a motion and second; the board also approved minutes from the Jan. 21 meeting. The meeting concluded with the board approving adjournment by voice vote.
