Florence City announced a cultural garden celebration at the City Center Market on Saturday, Sept. 21, beginning at 9 a.m. and running through 1 p.m., officials said.
The recording described “this year's garden highlights in Latin America,” and said attendees could expect traditional dance, authentic cuisine and gardening tips. “From 9 AM to 1 PM, enjoy traditional dance, authentic cuisine, and learn some gardening tips,” the Florence in Focus host said.
The announcement also said family activities would begin at 5 p.m. that evening, and that a move‑in night produced by parts, recreation and sports tourism staff is set to start at 7 p.m. “They'll be playing inside out too, so make sure to gather the whole family your blankets chairs for a fun night under the stars,” the host said. The recording indicated admissions and popcorn would be free; drinks, candy and hot dogs were available for purchase.
The recording did not supply permitting details, vendor lists, traffic or parking plans, or whether any road closures would accompany the Barnes Street activity.
