Frederick County planner: Cherry Run subdivision, two data-center site plans continue through county review

Why it matters: the projects are outside Mount Airy’s corporate limits but lie close enough to affect town services, schools and traffic patterns. Moreno said Frederick County staff are preparing an annual and five-year report required by the Maryland Department of Planning, and that county planners are also workshopping a South Frederick Corridor form‑based code that could lead to zoning ordinance amendments.
