Staff identified the most common issues as inoperable vehicles, accumulation of junk and trash, and overgrown lots. The department will coordinate with the public information officer for messaging and expects to use the pilot area's results to expand the program to other parts of the city.
Councilors thanked staff for taking a proactive, education-first approach and pledged support, noting frequent constituent calls about corridor conditions. No formal council action was required; staff requested the council's support for the campaign.
