Douglas County commissioners elect Patrick Kelly chair; Shannon Reed named vice chair

"I personally think that Commissioner Kelly is, would be a really great person to help us move through meetings in this year," Reed said.
The board voted by voice for both positions. Commissioners present voted “aye” for Kelly and later for Reed; no votes were recorded in opposition. After the vote the two commissioners switched seats in a ceremonial rearrangement at the dais.

Commissioners also thanked outgoing chair Commissioner Willie for the previous year’s service.
