On the consent agenda the board approved reappointments to the fair board — Joan Nyberg, Leslie Lewis and Greg Wildhower — and appointed Leslie Anderson to fill one vacancy on the Parks Board. The board also approved the disposition of surplus vehicles from the Parks Department. The motion to approve the consent agenda passed by voice vote.
The board approved Grant Agreement No. 184213 between Yamhill County and the Oregon Health Authority for the Nurse Family Partnership Program in the amount of $147,720, retroactive to Sept. 30, 2024, through Sept. 29, 2025. A board member described the program as a home-visiting service for first-time or at-risk parents before moving to approve the agreement; the motion passed by voice vote.
The board accepted a walk-on amendment to the county liaison list that reassigns several responsibilities (including soil-and-water and the Local Coastal/Watershed/LCD relationships) and adjusted voting/nonvoting membership for certain liaisons; commissioners said the corrections were largely clerical and intended to align liaison responsibilities with current practice. A commissioner moved approval and the motion passed by voice vote.
Ending: These votes were taken during the regular session; commissioners said staff will implement the liaison-list changes and file updated appointment records.
