The Marion County Board of Commissioners on Jan. 8, 2025 approved multiple consent-calendar items, including reappointments to the Marion County Fair Board and an intergovernmental agreement with the Oregon Department of Transportation for right-of-way services.
Commissioner Cameron moved approval of the consent calendar, which included orders reappointing Dana Castro, Amy Coulter Allen and Shannon Goebbels to the Marion County Fair Board with terms ending Dec. 31, 2027, and an intergovernmental agreement with the Oregon Department of Transportation for right-of-way services through Sept. 30, 2026. The motion was seconded and passed by voice vote.
During discussion before the vote Commissioner Cameron asked about one item tied to Scotts Mills and whether the treasurer was present to comment; the treasurer was not in the room and the commissioner proceeded to approve the consent items. No additional conditions were placed on the approvals during the meeting.
The board’s action formally reestablishes the named appointments through the end of 2027 and authorizes county staff to execute the ODOT right-of-way agreement under the terms presented on the consent calendar.
