HARNETT COUNTY — The county health department asked the Board of Commissioners to add an $80 service fee for QuantiFERON Gold tuberculosis testing to the consent agenda.
A health department presenter said the $80 fee accounts for LabCorp charge and venipuncture and reported the fee had been approved by the Board of Health on Jan. 16. The presenter asked the board to place the fee on the consent agenda for adoption; a board member responded, “We will have this to the consent agenda, madam clerk.”
No formal roll-call vote was recorded during the request; the item was forwarded to the consent agenda for formal action at a later point in the meeting.
