Board discussion on parking and downtown employees
During discussion of the paid-parking resolutions, several aldermen urged staff to develop guidelines and alternatives for employees of downtown businesses who may be affected by the new paid parking. Staff said a parking study and consultant work are on the department work plan and that the city will pursue a strategic approach to employee parking and downtown parking management.
