The Moreland School District Board of Trustees voted Wednesday to approve the 2023-24 School Accountability Report Cards (SARCs) for all district sites so they can be posted on school websites and made available in front offices.
The district's staff explained SARCs are state-standard templates that provide communities with performance data, school climate, facilities information and other statistics. Staff noted the materials under consideration report last year's data (2023-24) rather than the current school year.
Trustees asked whether anything in the SARCs was materially different from prior years; staff said the principal changes were updated principal names and a greater mention of transitional kindergarten (TK) because the district has added TK at multiple sites.
The board voted to approve the SARCs in aggregate by motion and voice vote so the documents can be posted to school websites.
Ending: District staff said the SARCs will be posted online and made available in school front offices as required.
