Board members approved settlements and employment matters brought forward by the board attorney during the Jan. 29 meeting, then voted to convene a 10‑minute executive session.
Following the attorney’s report, a board member moved and the board seconded approval of the settlements as presented; the chair called for the ayes and the motion carried. After the vote the board approved a motion to go into executive session for 10 minutes to discuss matters permitted under the attorney‑client and personnel exemptions, and the motion to convene in executive session was carried.
Board members returned from executive session and the meeting was subsequently adjourned. The board did not announce any actions taken in executive session while in open session; minutes and any required public records will reflect any reportable outcomes as required by law.
