Administrator reports rising athletic‑club use; Event Center announces programs and trustee highlights Seton High School investment

Township Administrator Skyler reported Jan. 28 that the Delhi Athletic Club has exceeded 50,000 total check‑ins since opening and is on pace with membership and revenue goals, while staff and trustees promoted upcoming programs at the Delhi Event Center.

Administrator Skyler said the athletic club reported 50,881 total check‑ins and an average daily check‑in figure of 346—about a 25% increase over December—and that the facility had 1,028 membership accounts representing 2,172 total members. He said the club remains on track to operate month‑to‑month in the black by the end of the third quarter of 2025, consistent with a five‑year business plan developed with partner HFit.

Event Center programming announced during the meeting includes an adults‑only wine tasting Feb. 13 (6–7:30 p.m., $30 per person) and the first Delhi on Tap craft beer festival on Feb. 22 (4–8 p.m.), featuring multiple vendors, live music and benefiting the local charity Kids, Cops and Firefighters; registration links were said to be available on the Delhi Event Center website and Facebook page.

During announcements Trustee Davis commented on a separate development: he said Seton High School plans to invest an estimated $16–17 million in nearby facilities, including a walking track, tennis and pickleball courts, and that work will begin as soon as weather allows and abandoned homes in the area are cleared. Trustee Davis said the township is seeking public access to some of those amenities when not in use by Seton; the trustee said the investment will enhance local property values. The trustee’s remarks were presented as his view and board commentary; no formal action or agreement with Seton was recorded in the meeting minutes.
