The fiscal officer, Mr. Luby, told the board the resolution includes amendments for payroll adjustments—specifically an adjustment that affected the fire department related to payroll processed in 2024 but posted to 2025—annual transfers (including transfers affecting the zoning fund) and an appropriation adjustment tied to the real estate tax assessment at Delhi Township Schools (DTS).
Luby also reported recent deposits and expenditures: a $20,000 donation for the township’s ball fields and soccer fields; $56,000 identified as receipts from the local government fund, motor vehicle license tax and gasoline tax (combined as reported); $17,000 from permissive motor vehicle license tax; and payroll on Jan. 16 of $328,000. Noted payments included $84,000 to Midtown Health for November funding; $70,000 to Morton Salt; $29,000 to Dell Inc. for computers at DTS; and $37,000 to Vokopol Fire for fire equipment.
Trustees voted to dispense with the second reading and to adopt the resolution by roll call; the roll recorded unanimous approval by Trustees Davis, Stearts and Seavey.
